Winnipeg Sonora Voices (WSV) is a vibrant family of choirs for singers aged 5 to 18+ from across Winnipeg and the surrounding region. Our choristers come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, united by a shared love of singing and music.
While WSV is an auditioned program, we look first and foremost for enthusiasm, potential, and a passion for choral singing. We believe young people thrive when they are challenged, supported, and inspired.
Through weekly rehearsals led by professional conductors and collaborative pianists, singers develop vocal skills, musicianship, confidence, creativity, leadership, and teamwork in a safe and welcoming environment. As a family of choirs, WSV provides a pathway for growth from childhood through young adulthood, allowing singers to progress through multiple ensembles while developing their artistry, expanding their skills, and forming lasting friendships.
Whether performing on some of Manitoba’s most prestigious stages or sharing music within the community, our singers are encouraged to reach their full potential—both as musicians and as individuals.
